How to Change an Affiliate's Group Assignment

Whether you are moving a single top-performer to a VIP tier or reassigning a large batch of affiliates for a new campaign, the process is quick and handled directly from your affiliate list.

  1. Navigate to the Affiliates Section. From your main merchant dashboard, go to the "Affiliates" section.

  2. Locate and Select Affiliates: Find the affiliate(s) you wish to move. You can use the search bar or filters (Status, Amount Owed, etc.) to narrow down your list. Use the checkbox next to each name to make your selection.

  3. Initiate the Group Change. Once you have selected at least one affiliate, the "Change group" button will appear in the action bar above the list. Click this button.

  4. Choose the Destination Group. A dropdown menu will appear listing all your active affiliate groups. Select the new group you want to move the selected affiliate(s) into.

  5. Confirm the Move. After selecting the group, click "Confirm" (or the final action button). The selected affiliates will be instantly reassigned to the new group.

Important Rules to Remember

  • Instant Updates: The moment an affiliate is moved, their commission rate, discount code rules, and payout settings are updated to match the new group.

  • Real-Time Dashboard Sync: Your affiliates will see their updated commission rates in their personal dashboard immediately after the change.

  • Bulk Moving: You can move up to 100 affiliates at once using the bulk selection checkbox, making large-scale program restructuring simple and "hassle-free."

What Happens Next?

Now that your affiliates are in their new group, all future referrals will be calculated using the new group's commission structure. Any referrals that were already "Pending" or "Approved" prior to the move will typically remain at the original rate they were earned at.
