This guide explains how to suspend and later reactivate an affiliate. Suspending an affiliate is a useful tool for pausing their activity without permanently deleting their account and data.

When an affiliate's account is suspended, their referral links and discount codes will no longer track new commissions, and they will lose access to their affiliate dashboard.

How to Suspend an Affiliate

  1. Navigate to the "Affiliates" Section. From your main dashboard, go to the "Affiliates" section.

  2. Select the Affiliate(s). Find the affiliate(s) you wish to suspend. You can use the search bar or filters to locate them. Use the checkbox next to their name(s) to make your selection.

  3. Initiate Suspension. Click the "Suspend" button that appears above the affiliate list.

  4. Confirm the Action. A confirmation window will appear. Click the "Confirm" button to proceed. The affiliate's status will now be updated to "Suspended."

    • "Send affiliate suspension email": Decide if you want to send a suspension email to the affiliate. Check the box to send it, or uncheck it to suspend them without sending an email. You can customize this email by going to "Settings" > "Emails".

Click the "Confirm" button to complete the process.

How to Reactivate a Suspended Affiliate

  1. Navigate and Select the Affiliate(s). Go to the "Affiliates" section and locate the suspended affiliate(s) you wish to reactivate. Select them using the checkbox next to their name(s).

  2. Initiate Reactivation. Click the "Approve" button. This action is used to reactivate suspended accounts.

  3. Configure and Confirm. Before finalizing, you will see a pop-up with an important option:

    • "Send affiliate welcome email": Decide if you want to send the welcome email to the affiliate again upon reactivation. Check the box to send it, or uncheck it to reactivate them without sending an email. You can customize this email by going to "Settings" > "Emails".

Click the "Confirm" button to complete the process.

Once reactivated, the affiliate's account, referral links, and discount codes will be fully functional again, and they will regain access to their dashboard.
