For merchants looking to create high-level partnerships or "exclusive" product lines, Affiliate Product Attribution allows you to hard-code an affiliate to a specific item. This ensures that every time that product is sold, the commission is automatically routed to your chosen partner.

How Product Attribution Works
When an affiliate is attributed to a product, they effectively "own" the commissions for that item. This is ideal for exclusive influencer collaborations or signature product lines. Once assigned, our system prioritizes this attribution over standard tracking methods, ensuring the correct partner is always rewarded for that specific SKU.
How to Set Up Product Attribution
This feature lives directly inside your Shopify Product Admin using Admin Blocks, allowing you to manage assignments without leaving the product page.

📌 Pro-Tip: Pin the Block
By default, Shopify may hide app blocks behind an extra click. To save time:
Click the Pin icon (the thumbtack) in the top-right corner of the Affiliate Attribution block.
Why? Pinning the block ensures it stays visible every time you open any product page, so you don't have to manually "Add Block" every single time.
Important Rules to Remember
Tracking Priority: Attribution set at the product level takes precedence. This affiliate will be credited for the sale even if the customer didn't use a standard referral link or discount code.
Easy Disconnect: To change partners or end an exclusive agreement, simply return to the product page and click the Disconnect button within the block.
Status Confirmation: A green "Affiliate assigned" status banner will appear in the block once the connection is active.
Staff Permissions: Your Shopify staff account must have permission to manage App Blocks to see and interact with this tool in your Admin.
By using Product Attribution, you can create "Signature Series" products or influencer-exclusive drops with total confidence that the commission tracking is locked in at the source.
