If you need to close your affiliate program or move to a different solution, you can cancel your subscription by removing the app from your Shopify store.
Uninstalling Simple Affiliate from your Shopify Admin automatically cancels your subscription and stops all future billing.
How to Uninstall and Cancel
The entire process is managed directly within your Shopify account settings:
Navigate to Settings: From your Shopify Admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.
Locate the App: Find Simple Affiliate in your list of installed apps.
Uninstall: Click the Uninstall button next to the app name.
Confirm: Follow the Shopify prompts to confirm the removal.
Important Rules to Remember
Immediate Billing Stop: Your subscription is canceled the moment the app is removed. You will not be charged for any future billing cycles.
Tracking Termination: All active referral links will stop working immediately. No new commissions will be tracked once the app is deleted.
Loss of Affiliate Access: Your affiliates will lose access to their dashboards and will no longer be able to view their stats or payment history.
Data Deletion: Per Shopify’s privacy policy, your affiliate data (profiles, settings, and referral history) is scheduled for permanent deletion shortly after uninstallation. This data cannot be recovered if you reinstall the app later.
